If you wish to be included in the APS mailing list, you may write a request via e-mail (africanprimatesociety@gmail.com) to the APS Secretariat.
Following a decision of the general assembly of the APS held in Entebbe in 2019, being registered on the mailing list will no longer be enough to be considered as a member of APS. Only APS members will be eligible for financial supports to attend APS’s event or to represent APS in event organized by IPS and other partners. Also, only active members will be able to vote during general assemblies and be candidates to elective posts.
To become a new member of APS or renew your membership, you must pay your membership fees and fill in a membership form.
- Option 3: credit card / debit card - Option 2: Payment in cash at one of the following addresses or at congress desks CSRS Conservation Through Public Health (Uganda) Once you pay the fees, you will receive a confirmation e-mail of your membership status that will be valid for one year (from August to August) unless otherwise decided by a general assembly. Your membership status is activated as soon as you pay your membership fees.
Sub-regional primate associations and groups could also be affiliated to the APS on condition that they share the APS and IP goals and vision. To be affiliated, these associations and groups should write an affiliation request via email (africanprimatesociety@gmail.com) to the APS president. No fees are required for affiliation by regional associations and groups. Being affiliated to APS a group does not confer membership status to your members. Each of them must comply to the procedure described above to become a member of APS.
